Road trip in Nordics and then Western Europe?

From 2012 spring or summer.

I am planning to buy a car in Finland - Helsinki , and start from here to other nordic countries, finally arrive to Germany .
But I just want to go to the capital city of nordic countries.
So the route will be?

Helsinki->Stockholm/Oslo-->Copenhagen--->Germany

If driving from Helsinki to Stockholm is it too far away ? Anyway to ship the car to stockholm?

I am a EU citizen , so what should I notice?Except a driving licsence.

I don't know the details of what you would need to do to buy a car in Finland, but I assume you at least need to get it insured. Might be tricky for a tourist (or not, really have no idea). If you are just visiting the capitals, I don't see why you would go through the hassle, but I guess you must have a reason.

If you check a world map, you will also quickly discover that driving from Helsinki to Stockholm involves quite a bit of a detour. There's this thing called the Baltic Sea in-between. There's naturally car ferries between Helsinki/Turku and Stockholm.

There are huge ferries between Stockholm and Helsinki and between Sth. and Turku. Alternatively, ferries via Aland Island.
