Half Moon Cay Non-Tour

Holland-America's island has tour actives. I opted for cycling, but hope I can slip onto a beach and snorkel independently. Any experiences on this island to share?

The island is very small, so you should have time for both. Do you have your own snorkel gear? If so, you'll be fine. Otherwise you have to rent it... I think. I cant remember. I used to work for HAL but rarely got off the ship for it. I usually too hung over from the night before...

Have fun

Does that mean, you've already bought the cruise?

Theres no problem doing independant snorkelling in HMC. Theres a few boats in the water though with people doing parasailing so if you go out far, bear this in mind. Cant really think of anything to add, oh theres a new pirate ship shaped bar on the beach which is really cool. Enjoy!!!

Hey, if you are at Half Moon Cay, just don't miss the Horseback riding . The horse will take away you to the sea and you will be on top. I bet you wont get such amazing experience ever anywhere. Anyway, good luck for the tour.
