Clark (CRK) airport to Manila (NAIA)

Hello everybody,

I am landing in Clark at 3:35 pm and have a flight in Manila at 1:30 am. I'm quite sure I've left myself enough time, so I'm not really worried about that, but I was wondering, what is the most effective / affordable way to get from the Clark (CRK) airport to the Manila (NAIA) airport?

I'd rather not take a taxi until I get into Manila. Anyone have a good plan of attack?

Hello, I am in the same position as you were back in 2010 in that I need to travel from CRK to NAIA airport. I was wondering what you did in the end? What was the best way to travel between the 2.
Many thanks
Lauren.

FROM CLARK AIRPORT to All 4 Manila Airports; The shuttle bus options from Clark to Manila seems to be changing from month to month so difficult to give you Exact updated GOOD INFO. Before you the AirAsia Shuttle Bus from Clark Airport to Manila PASAY STATION FREE of charge but then the rising gasoline prices changed that. Also now more discount airlines are arriving at Clark like Seair, Cebu Pacific, Asiana and Tiger Airways.

The last two Danish backpackers who arrived told me they were charged P350+ to Manila / Pasay City by the bus available at CLARK which is more than DOUBLE the local bus from the DAU STATION ( only P135 last week ) .So take a taxi or passenger Tricycle ( try to bargain P100 ) to DAU ( pronounced Dah-ooo ) Bus Station, then ANY of the buses going to PASAY, Victory Liner bus ( 2+ hours depending on traffic) is one company but there are other bus companies with FREQUENT departures every 30 minutes and get OFF the bus on EDSA in Pasay City. REMIND yourself of one of my Ten Tips- NEVER take a PARKED Taxi as they are waiting for a victim, Wave down a MOVING TAXI who are too busy working so 90% of the time do NOT overcharge you. From Pasay City Victory Liner taxi fare is P90 to P130.

It is Manila the most disorganised city in the world. If you land at Clark, i recommend you look at what is waiting just outside the arrivals area. If you are looking to save 150 pesos then take the green and white jeepney to Dau and then ask around for a bus going to Pasay Manila. One thing to consider is your personal safety in Manila, if you arrive in Pasay after dark, some of the bus stations especially Partas are in rough areas.
Some other buses at Clark go directly to Cubao and Pasay, a few daily go to Trinoma mall in the North of Manila which avoid the traffic hell that is EDSA.

It is all too complex to describe, Philippines is a little hellish for first time backpackers, you just gotta "bahala na" go with the flow. If you are used to European, Singapore, Malaysian networked transported system you will be severly shocked. Best to use taxis where necessary if you are a first time foreigner or 10th time like me, my general advice would be just get to manila then take a taxi to the airport, insist on "Metro" - meter.
If you are a Filipino or with a filipino you will be able to take the jeepneys in manila to Naia, but for foreigners, take my word , just take metred taxis to save your stress
