17Back from Cuba, what a fantastic trip! In the end I did the following and I did not feel rushed at all
2 days in Havana
1 day Cienfuegos
2 days Trinidad
2 days Caya Santa Maria/Remedios (there is a direct bus from Trinidad)
2 days in Vinales
and last day in Habana
Loved Havana and trinidad but more than anything the people, I was travelling alone but you are never alone in Cuba, especially if you speak some spanish!
Hope this is useful to other people planning their trip

18Glad you enjoyed it, I guess you don't mind traveling by bus. Did you feel 2 days was enough for Viñales?

19I used the bus to sleep :-)
Vinales: my answer is it depends, you can use the first day to do some mountain biking and the second for the minibus tour that covers all the main sites. A night in the lively square is also a nice addition. For me that was enough but of course you can spend more days hiking or climbing.

20I didn't do either actually and I was there 3 nights. I did do a tobacco farm tour and rented a bike to do some photography. I also hung out with a couple of bands and even got to sing with them. But I'm just a "do my own thing" kind of guy.
For those interested in scenery and photography, get to Hotel Jasmines by sunrise to get a breathtaking view of the misty mogotes. I rode a bike which took about 20 minutes (mostly uphill but the ride back was fun) but you can also arrange for a taxi.
