best places to visit in turkeyhi to all the travelers out der,
i have been working on my Turkey Itinerary since time now.. and i still m not able crack the best possible route for my travel since i want to include cannakkale, pergamum, cappadosia, fez or izmir troy if possible and all this in 7 days because i want to go for a budget trip.. did some research from the home sites but m not getting the route well..
here are the questions
1. is bus the best way to travel intercity or should i opt for flights since from what i see it at the same cost?
2. if i choose the shore line going to cappadocia is going to a very long drive n i dont wanna get so exhausted that i don end up enjoying my trip!!
3. what is the quote on cost of stay and the travelling expenses like?? how will it work if i opt in for a 3star hotel??

1A 7 day trip taking in 6 places. Is highly silly and unlikely to be done on a budget. It is way too rushed. And to make it worse where's Istanbul? You need to rethink about this and concentrate on 2 areas.
1. Bus is cheap and fantastic. But it is longer. I guess if you are going to Cappadocia then it might be wise considering the distance.

2Order of priority....
Cappadocia (awesomely unique geology, fairy chimneys, cave churches, underground cities)
Ephesus (awesome roman ruins, last home of virgin Mary, medieval castle)
Pamukkale (unique calcium reefs, thermal waters, necropolis)
Antalya (lots of beaches, ruins, and nature parks nearby)

3Reconsider. This schedule is ludicrous if you want to actually see and enjoy your visit rather than rushing from place to place ticking of a list. (you remind me of the travellers on a "It's Monday so it must be Paris tour) Have a good look at turkeytravelplanner.com and start working more seriously on the logistics. One way to save yourself a little time is to fly back from Kayseri to Istanbul.
Turkey is a huge country and people planning tours forget to factor this in - and while the bus service is particularly good it still takes time to locate otogars and public transport in places that you are unfamiliar with.

Turkey is obviously very big and going from one place to another takes very long. So it is up to you but 7 days is very tight to see many things.
I drove last year all the way down the coast, from Izmir to Antalya, then to Cappadocia, then to Pamukkale and back.
All the notes are here (accomodation, prices, impressions), hope it helps
