This is the place to tell us about things that are broken, glitchy and getting in the way of your Thorn Tree experience. When reporting a bug, please include as much information as you can, including details of your browser/system setup, any specific error message text, and the amount of times you've experienced the problem (all of these are important in determining what's wrong and fixing it promptly).
Here's one I prepared earlier:

Weird Error!
There's a weird error appearing when I click Post New Thread. Here's what it says:
Weird error 404
I am on a PC, using Internet Explorer. It's happened twice in the last hour. It's 11pm in Melbourne right now. Please fix it asap!

Depending on the type of error, you can also take a screenshot and send it along to community@lonelyplanet.com. This should also help us diagnose and resolve...

Hey TT,
Today I got like 17 emails from a thread that I hadn't subscribed to, but, the weird thing is, the subject said that it was a thread that I had subscribed to. :| The text in the emails were from a different thread but from the same branch and some of the links linked to that thread, while others linked to the titled (subjectl) thread. The thread that was sent to me but that I hadn't subscribed to is called, "how do I get my stuff back?" The thread that I was actually subscribed to, with one link to it in the email, but recieved over a dozen notifications for, was the sticky thread at the top of the Long Haul branch: "The Long Haul - Living & Working Abroad" Obviously, both are in the Long Haul branch.
Hopefully this isn't too confusing. Thanks for fixing the problem :)
Steph
Hello!
I've been a member of Thorntree for a while now and no matter how many times I edit my profile, it keeps saying that I'm from Bulgaria. When I go to edit my profile, it says that I'm from Canada (which is where I'm from) but when you click on my name in the threads, it shows up as Bulgaria. Is there anywhere of changing this?
Thanks
N

Is there a way to do so? How?
Without this feature, search is irritating at best and usually useless. Is there some obvious way that I'm missing?

Can we have a new "latest poll" on the right side of the page? Or no poll at all? The current one must have been there for a year now and its driven me mad for all but the first two days of that year.
Thanks.

Hi, quite often when clicking "Post message", the post doesn't get posted. The words (in the little box) disappear and you have to then go back, click on 'reply to thread' and redo the thing. This also happens when editing as well.
Not all the time mind, but enough that it's annoying. Anyone else had this problem?

No matter whether I format a link manually with "[|]" or use the drop-down, sometimes the link and link text does not appear in my post. Other times it works normally. I haven't discovered any rhyme or reason for this. Very irritating.

When viewing the 'Who's On' tab I noticed the country flag icon for opposite name is incorrect. The entry for country is correct in my profile. I've tried to find where I can correct this under 'My Profile', but I can't find anything. Is this a bug or is the error occurring in between the chair and the keyboard :)
Thanks,
PerArdua

For the past 2 weeks Thorntree has been crashing my IE 8, locking up and then recovering, almost to the point where I’m not going into it any more.
What’s happening??????

I go into the box at the bottom of the thread. type in post. hit "post message" - nothing happens except that box becomes un-clickable - tho the message stays in the box.
first time I then hit "reply to this post, and it let me - and then there was the other one.. but now..???
