Report a Bug

Every time I click on my recent threads it brings up a message from Sabbath dated 2011 saying that business accounts are not allowed. I Don't have a business account
Some users have reported that when they start a new topic, they click 'post message', then get an error message saying 'please enter a subject' even though they have entered a subject.
Usually if you try a second time the post will go through, but obviously we need to get to the bottom of this error.
If this has happened to you, can you let us know?
So what's this then, top left of my screen?
I'm getting errors when I post. Sometimes after hitting the post button, I'm taken to the departure lounge. Other times, a random, blank page with just the LP banner at the top.
This is in Firefox on a PC.
Since yesterday. Impossible to click on the 'v' icon, it does not react. I can't find any other way to logoff.
The title says almost it all. I'll only add it didn't work yesterday and it doesn't work today.
Now when clicking on the flag to report the flood of spam washing over the forums, it says "oops we couldn't find /reportabuse/new."
I mean for the love of gosh, do we need to start a Kickstarter to hire you guys a decent programmer or what?
I'm fairly new to Thorn Tree so this may have been addressed elsewhere - sorry if so.
I am planning a trip in 2014 and had been searching for tips using lots of the cities and areas on my route.
I had found a weekly search kept me up-to-date with anything new people had been posting on these places, but now when I go to search, say, 'Hanoi', I am only offered posts for the last 6 months and there seems to be nothing after April 2013.
But if I go to the Asia section and look at most recent posts there are lots about Hanoi. So, why can I not pick these newer posts up via the Search function?
When viewing the forum I press on scroll button to scroll down the page but it is moving very slowly,i.e. just...one...line...at..a... time...very slowly!I have don't have this problem on any other web site I tried so I know this is not a problem with my computer(my first thought).Today is the 3rd day it has been like this.
Anyone else with the same problem? Mods can you help please?
I use to be able to log in to this site and see my previous replies to post and just click on it to see what others had to say about it. Amigos, is their a way to this now. Sometimes it works and other times no. Gracias, Edmund
This problem occured a few months ago and was supposedly fixed but...it is still there at least for me.I'm still having to do the click on reply click back again trick. It's a pain!
Anyone else with the same problem?
TT any chance of this gremlin EVER being dealt with?
There is an old thread on this issue but it seems to be closed as I couldn't add this post to it,so sorry for the new thread on an old problem.
As many of you are aware, we are experiencing some technical difficulties at the moment. One of the more annoying problems is having to repeatedly sign in. Our developers are working on it and hopefully we'll have a solution very soon. Please bear with us, we know how frustrating this is (it's happening to us too).
Why no recent feedback regarding this problem?
Even to say we are still working on it but..........
To get signed in I need to repeat the signing in procedure twice ot thrice.
I'm not referring to the insane plague of bugs which has once again made the site nearly unusable over the last few days.
I'm taking about the ridiculous, insulting, incredibly poorly thought out "filter." As anyone in there who's been paying attention knows, it's broken, it doesn't work, it constantly blocks posts with NO objectionable content while letting actual profanities and spam through with ease.
Kill it; kill it with fire, or make whoever wrote it up in 10 minutes of their "spare time" take it down. It's insulting to the community, to the forum, and to the programmers. We're not at the Beeb anymore; most adult forums allow at least a little bit of salty language these days, but if that's a major pearl clutcher in there, fine, then add THOSE WORDS to the filter. Having it block completely legit posts for the dozens of innocent words which it tends to get stuck on is just... more »
