Where to stay between Addis Ababa and Gondar?
I'd like to break up the 700+km drive from Addis Ababa to Gondar with an overnight stay about half way. Can someone suggest a town and hotel to stay? Also, what's the road like between these two cities?

East Africa - Tour Operators
Has anyone used TrueAfrica (http://www.trueafrica.com/) to book a safari in East Africa before? If so, what were your thoughts? Did any particular destination or camp/lodge stand out as a highlight? Thanks!

Where to stay in Addis Ababa?
Hello Everyone,
Can someone suggest a good place to stay in Addis? I have a car so I need secure parking. I prefer to stay in nice budget or good value mid-range place in a safe area. Thanks.

Rwenzoris - Margharita Peak
I want to climb Margharita Peak in the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda this July (2012), to celebrate my 60th birthday.
Any information on the technical difficulties since new (reported) crevasses opened up, or are there new routes circumventing the crevasses?
Is there actually any real technical climbing involved (e.g. the knowledgeable use of ice axes and crampons), or are the ropes and harnesses mentioned in a few websites merely for safety on some difficult areas?
Knowledgeable replies required fairly urgently please, as I need to start planning!
Thanks,
Steve.

Safe to walk around Durban Centre with a camera?
Hello Durban savvy people,
My husband and I will be travelling to South Africa for the first time and we shall be in Durban for three days in April. On the recommendation of a friend from Johannesburg we have hired a tour guide to take us around the Joburg city centre so that we can explore and take pictures safely. Normally we prefer to experience new places on our own and do not use guided tours. Our hope was that we would not need to do this in Durban. I know that during the day the Golden Mile is safe and I have heard the same is true of the city centre. I have read that the area between the Golden Mile and the Centre Business District is rather dodgy and that one should not walk through that area even during the day. However, I have heard that the centre district (where Durban City Hall, The Playhouse, The Workshop and the Victoria Embankment are located) is safe to explore...

Juba's Konyo Konyo market
For those who know Juba, the Konyo-Konyo market burned last night. It was a huge fire, still burning this morning. It had just started when we drove by and the driver didn't know how it had started or whether it was intentionally set.

Volunteers/Interns in Nairobi May to August 2012
Hey there,
I'm looking for others who will be volunteers or interns in Nairobi from May to August 2012 to share housing and plan weekend trips! I'm hoping it won't be too difficult to find a house to share with multiple people for just three months.
Looking forward to meeting new people!

About the information of public bus?
I'll plan to get around Tunisia by long distance bus. Here are my inquires:
1. Is there a centralized computerized system for buying a bus ticket? Can I buy a bus ticket from El Jem to Tatouine at the Tunis bus station two days in advance?
2. It seems that very few buses go from Gabes to Douz. Could you tell me the time schedule of bus?Any louages running between these two towns?
3. I'll go to Tunisia in the Easter Holiday. Is it difficult to buy a bus ticket?
My trip is quite hectic. Therefore, I have to plan my trip very well before departure. Thanks
