I have a used bicycle to sell. I have bought it in Kuala Lumpur and now on the way to Bangkok, where I want to sell it (in around two weeks). It is not a very good and thus not very expensive one, but it always carried out its duties. I did 1000+ km with it and I think it could do it again. It has an aluminium frame, derrailleur, rear rack...
Is there anybody who will need a bicycle in Bangkok or does anybody know how to sell a used bicycle in Bangkok?
I am a fully qualified teacher in Ireland and Im looking for a change of scene.
Ive been to Thailand 4 times now and Im considering taking a year out to teach in there.
Obviously I realise that having only been to Thailand in a holiday capacity it would be a completely different experience to work there but I its something that Ive been wanting to do for a while now.
I was just wondering if there are any websites that anyone here could recommend to find a teaching job? Im not really fussy on the location!
The websites I have been looking at have packages that include a TEFL course which is not something that I am looking to complete as I am already qualified in Ireland.
Any tips/advice would really be appreciated!
Or if anyone thinks its a bad idea I'd be happy to hear any advice!
Thanks a million!
I am planning to visit thailand on march for my honeymoon. I am looking for a villa or chalet type accomodation near beach. I prefer phuket or koh samui. I checked few villas most of them are over 200 usd. My budget is 150 usd/night. I dont want 5 star villas.
If it is clean and have privacy..its good for me. But i would love a outdoor jacuzzi or private pool.
I want a nice quiet place with a nice beach nearby but easily accessible from town center by tuk tuk or taxi so that if i want i can also go for shopping.
Is it possible to get within this budget.
Your suggestion will be much appreciated.

Hello! I am sure you have been in similar positions, frustrated with the lack of heart of the beaurocratic airline policies and lack of interest at helping people that they have carelessly neglected. Aaaaagggh! I lost a lot in the past couple of days, sleep, sanity, stomach balance, but now not my birr!
My request- Is there anyone who is going to Ethiopia or know anyone that is? I am here in Bangkok now and I have about 35$ worth of Ethio birr that I would love to exchange with someone (Ethio birr is not exchanged at the exchange places anywhere despite claims that the next place would exchange)
Also, if anyone around bangkok wants to meet up in the next couple of days, I would love to. Maybe people with similar interests and trails. My interests are forests, music, meditation. In this way, I will be looking for nice Forests to camp out in and also some places for meditation and ret... more »
Where is the used backpack store on Koh San Road? I dont mean the fake the stuff that falls apart after one trip but I know there is a stand somewhere that sells real stuff that people have sold.
Also, I usually go home in the summer so I have no idea, which beach area in Thailand gets the least rain in early June? I live in Burma so know the Andaman is out, any other ideas?
I am planning a trip to Thailand and I am in the process of booking a hostel for when I arrive, can anyone suggest some good ones? I will start in Bangkok so a hostel there is what I am looking for. Clean, Internet access...
From my search, the festival in Nakhon Si Thammarat -Makha Bucha Hae Phra Khuen That Festival always falls on the Full Moon in
Feb 7 / Mac 7. Can anyone confirm the dates for the festival? How many days are the events?
Hi, should we book somewhere to stay for the full moon party in March? I have been to Thailand before and booked when we got there but does the same apply to this time of year/party? Thanks :)
Really need your advice on two things - we will be arriving in Koh Samui from Bangkok at 11.05 with Bangkok Airways and want to head straight to Koh Tao with lomprayah on the 12.30 ferry - would it be wise to book it online beforehand or wait till we get to their desk at Samui airport? Is booking online on their website reliable?
Also we are flying with bangkok airways from koh samui to krabi arriving in krabi at 1.10pm, and are aware that there is a 15.00 ferry to phi phi (where we want to go straight on to) but am wondering does anyone know which ferry operator this is with? I found the timetables on 1stopkrabi.com but there is no detail on how to book tickets etc as we need to be on Phi Phi that night as we have accom booked.
Would really love some help on this last bit of organising.
