As stated in our Website Terms, if you are using the Sell, Swap & Meet Up branch, you do so at your own risk, but here are some general guidelines:
Listing and selling stuff;
(a) Only items that are related to travel should be listed here - this is a travel forum not a cheap electronics or knock-off designer handbag forum. Posted items that are not relevant to this forum will be removed at our discretion;
(b) This is forum for individuals to sell occasional items. This forum cannot be used to list commercial websites, nor should it be used as your personal online storefront.
(c) If you’re selling something, make sure you’re legally able to sell it, and don’t forget to include any terms of sale. There are some things which you're not allowed to sell (because of laws and/or Lonely Planet's policy). They include: alcohol, animals...

Hi,
Anyone interested in a short trek (10 days) in Nepal sometime in March to April?
Derek
Our university is organising a field trip to Uganda on April 20th, but another student and myself are going a week earlier so that we can (hopefully) get in on some gorilla trekking! Unfortunately, the number of interested students dropped from about 5 to 2 and, consequently, the costs per person have risen.
Is there anyone that will be in Uganda from April 13-20 that would be interested in joining us for this? I have done quite a bit of research and have gotten some decent estimates from different tour operators. E-mail me at dustin.miller@mail.mcgill.ca if you are itnerested and I will fill you in on the details! Or if someone knows another appropriate place to post this, please let me know!
Thanks!
D

Hi there!!
I am travelling in Brasil. I have made plans up until Carnival, but have no plans after that. Am looking for some inspirations here as I have been in Brasil for weeks (Sao Paulo, small towns and Belo Horizonte), and have not made it to the BEACH! Anyone with travel plans to go to the beach after carnival, i am looking to travel with someone. Let me know!! Ideas are also welcome. I am planning on going east from Belo Horizonte and then perhaps north. Ideas on where to go would be appreciated. I would like to go to Salvador, but places around there i hear are nice as well. Cheers! Louise

Hi to anybody reading this message.
Hope & wish this is the correct place to post this message.
I like very much travelling and do so as much as I can. Within one of my trips, I have visited Norway and was fascinated by the fijords, nature and everything else.
I heard from so many people that Alaska might be even better. Thats why I am thinking of taking a cruise trip to Alaska by end June or early July this year. Shall probably start from Vancouver, but this is not a must.
I wonder if I can find a charming young lady companion who would share this experience with me.
Travel companionship is a risky bet, since if wrong would ruin everything. But if right, there is nothing better than to share a nice trip. Alone it does not have sense at all.
So, anyone outhere who would think of such a pleasant adventure ?
Besides I might consider offering the cruise cost, if my companion wou...

Hi!!!
I'm Alicia, a 23 yr old Canadian, looking for a similar aged female travel mate for Turkey, Germany, and the Netherlands in May 2010! Unfortunately all of my friends can't afford to go away this time, so hopefully, you would be interested in joining me on my adventure!!
The Turkey trip is 2 weeks traveling around Western Turkey as part of a tour group (although I will be arriving solo and don't know anyone, yet). Going to be seeing great sites like Cappadocia, Kas (tour of the Turquoise coast), Antalya, Ephesus, Troy, and Pamukkale. Im also looking to backpack around the Netherlands and Germany and would love it if I could do this part with another solo traveller. It would be great if someone could join me on one portion of the trip, especially for the the Netherlands and Germany part because I will be completely by myself.
Since my travel plans are extremely flexible,...

Hey there!
I am traveling alone to Ko Samui on my way to Ko Pang nan for the Full Moon Party. A little bit too late in the game I have realized that there might not be much of a chance for me to meet people while I am there. If anyone else is in the same position, or just wants to meet up with a fellow backpacker, please let me know!
Thanks!
Kailene
I want to head off to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and perhaps the Philippines and Indonesia as well but I've got no one to go with :( Thinking of starting in Bangkok and just making my way up through Thailand and then heading into Laos, grabbing the slow boat to Laungprabang and then just seeing where the wind takes me from there really. I do know what I want to see and the route I'm gonna take but my plans are quite flexible. I cannot leave any earlier than June and I'd like to get back no later than late September. If anyone is interested in the trip or part of the trip and is in a similar kind of situation to myself please get in touch. Even if you're dates are slightly different from mine let's have a chat :D
