As stated in our Website Terms, if you are using the Sell, Swap & Meet Up branch, you do so at your own risk, but here are some general guidelines:
Listing and selling stuff;
(a) Only items that are related to travel should be listed here - this is a travel forum not a cheap electronics or knock-off designer handbag forum. Posted items that are not relevant to this forum will be removed at our discretion;
(b) This is forum for individuals to sell occasional items. This forum cannot be used to list commercial websites, nor should it be used as your personal online storefront.
(c) If you’re selling something, make sure you’re legally able to sell it, and don’t forget to include any terms of sale. There are some things which you're not allowed to sell (because of laws and/or Lonely Planet's policy). They include: alcohol, animals...

Hi,
I am a solo traveler planning Beijing, Tibet, (Lhasa) Nepal trip. Planning to start in Beijing around Dec 18th. I plan to get to Lhasa by train and am looking for people who would like to share the cost of a trip. I haven't settled on a particular company or the exact dates but I would like to be in Nepal around the New Years. If you are interested please send me a private message.
Thanks!

I am planning to drive from the UK (Oxford) to South Africa.
Starting late February or mid March 2010 if I can get my act together in time.
I plan an open ended, leisured trip, expect several months or more. Hopefully will extend north through East Africa. Is it possible to drive all the way north to Egypt, then home?
Driving a '91 Pajero 4X4. Minimum preparation planned, change oil, check tires, let's roll.
Seeking either a travel companion (mainly for company and safety, help share costs) or other driver or group to make a mini convoy. Knowledge of French or local languages would be a real help.
I'm male, 72 years old (last fling before senility) in reasonably good shape but high mileage. Reasonably competent traveller (lived in, inter alia, India, Pakistan, Ghana). Fair level of mechanical ability, limited language skills, no French, some Spanish, German.
If you are intere...

Calling all Musicians from Guitarists to Kazoo players, singers, anyone who can do anything or nothing basically, juggle fire or just dance atrosiously.
Myself and a few friends are putting on a bit of a jam sesh/party somewhere in Goa for new years day, something a litte more chilled than the night before, but basically as much as we can get away with without getting shut down.
Picture dancing round a fire, jamming with your mates and complete random strangers, listening to strange Sitar noices and not giving a shit about anything, especially the the shit job left behind, wherever you come from.
The beach hasn't been descided yet were quite easy when it comes to which beach to be at so if your up for it and have a specific location were up for sugestions although we have friends living there so we should have a decent venue lined up soon.
So basically if your a musician, singer,...

I'm from Brazil, and I'll be going to a short backpacker trip in Europe at the next spring. I've plans to stay in London (where I'll arrive at 22nd or 23rd april 2010) for a while and then expend a week or so traveling north in the UK, heading Edinburgh.

Hi.
I am going to be in HCM and Hanoi between the above mentioned dates. If you are interested in pairing up for sightseeing around these cities and sharing a ride between these cities please let me know.
I am 29 and male and would not mind joining a group already taking a tour around these dates.
Hope to hear from you.

Hola,
I´ll be coming off Aconcagua around New Years eve. Just wondering if anybody is interested in meeting up for a little traveling, climbing, or drinking. I leave from Santiago Chile on the 17th so I I have about two weeks to fill. Curious if any potential travel partners are interested in planning an adventure. I´m a 25 gringo with heaps of travel experience. facebook/whoiswillhockett
If interested in Patagonia, I have a four season tent. If interested in climbing, I won´t have rock pro. But will be acclimatized. If interested in just bouncing around,it´d be nice to find a man or woman to share the bumpy back roads of argentinawith.
Cheers,
W!ll

Hi all!
Im a swedish nature enthusiast enjoying the more complex african roads. Coming february/march (2010) I plan a trip from Brazzaville to Douala via Ouesso. The cameroonian part of the journey seems straightforward enough, but for the congolese part I would be very interested in finding a fellow traveller to team up with. My plan is to fly into Brazzaville by the middle of february. From there I plan to either travel east by boat along the Congo river and then onto the Sangha up towards Ouesso and the Cameroonian border, or head north from Brazzaville by road towards Ouesso. I would very much prefer the boatride, but it all depends on availability and timing. Of course I plan to visit various interesting places, not least Ndoki Nouabale NP in northern Congo, along the way. Anyone interested? Adventures guaranteed...

Hey all,
I am in Austin, Texas and want to get down to Guatemala for a month. I like traveling by hitching especially because it connects you with people a lot as you travel. I am ok doing it on my own, but don't know if its the best idea as a girl alone in Mexico, which is pretty macho and so on. Which is why I am posting here.
I like to go to remote places, shut up and listen, understand how people are living, have fun, explore, spend little.
I can leave second week of December. I'm thinking to be traveling for about a month.
Email me at satori6 (at) hotmail.com if this is the kind of thing you might want to do together for sometime.
