As stated in our Website Terms, if you are using the Sell, Swap & Meet Up branch, you do so at your own risk, but here are some general guidelines:
Listing and selling stuff;
(a) Only items that are related to travel should be listed here - this is a travel forum not a cheap electronics or knock-off designer handbag forum. Posted items that are not relevant to this forum will be removed at our discretion;
(b) This is forum for individuals to sell occasional items. This forum cannot be used to list commercial websites, nor should it be used as your personal online storefront.
(c) If you’re selling something, make sure you’re legally able to sell it, and don’t forget to include any terms of sale. There are some things which you're not allowed to sell (because of laws and/or Lonely Planet's policy). They include: alcohol, animals...

Hi everybody,
we're looking for fellow travellers who want do a 3-day safari to Murchison at the end of February 2010.
Departure would be Friday 26th or Saturday 27th in either Kampala or Masindi.
Sorry that we're not flexible on the dates but our flight back is on the 2nd...
We're in contact with Mamaland, Backpacker's and Yebo Tours (Masindi), itineraries are different but comparable,
prices are too high for a couple but reasonable and comparable for 4-6 people.
(Red Chili tour on the 26th is full and their camp is occupied due to a "fishing competition")
"We" is a french-german couple (40+) with by then 2 weeks of Uganda-experience ;o)
Please PM me for details
Have fun

Hi All,
My friend and I are planning to drive from London to Cape Town in early February 2010 (as early as possible). Early February is now set in stone as we are both leaving work for this trip. If you fancy some adventure then read on!
We are Mike and Christine. Mike has a 300 series Landrover Defender called Himba which has been built from scratch to a decent expedition spec. We are looking for 1-2 people to join us on this trip.
The trip should take around 6 months and take in:
Libya
Tunisia
Egypt
Sudan
Ethiopia
Kenya
Rwanda
Uganda
Tanzania
Malawi
Zambia
Botswana
Namibia and
South Africa
Mike is a 28 year old male from London. I'm Christine, a 26 year old female from Dublin. We have both had enough of city life and want to fulfil a life long ambition! Mike has been lucky to have travelled quite extensively through Europe, the US, Canada, Central America...

I'm an easy going 42 year old American planning on backpacking through Northern Central America Mid Dec through mid to late Jan.I travel light and stay in buget accomodationsI'm arriving in Cancun Mex Dec.15(only because its much cheaper than any other arrival dest. in C.A)My plans are to bus or hitchike down the Mex. coast maybe stopping in Tulum and or Chetumal to check out some of the Mayan sites. My plans are loose from there on because I don't like to travel with too many constraints.I got my open water certification in S.E Asia last year and I am hooked. Therefore I would like to dive some in Belize(in the Caye's) and on the Bay Islands in Honduras.I want to do some volcano trekking in Guatemala and get off the beaten path some in the mountains.I'm very flexable and open to suggestions. If this fits in well with you I hope to hear from ya.

I´m currently travelling solo through South America but would like to meet up with other travellers. I´m in Cordoba, Argentina right now and will probably be leaving this area on the 18th of December and hope to head south for the holidays. In some cultures, I am considered to be quite tolerable and, depending on the day, can be quite charming as well. Let me know if you´re interested.

Hey guys,
I fly into Los Angeles on the 28th of December and I'm pretty keen for a road trip, so i'm looking for anyone who's up for a fun trip! My only restriction is I need to be in Vancouver for the 14th January to fly home.
My current plan is:
-Las Vegas for New Year(!!)
-Pass by the Grand Canyon
-Head back to LA along the Mexican border, stopping at Mexicali
-Head up the West coast visiting (at the least): San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle.
-From Seattle, get a boat to Vancouver Island
-Boat to Vancouver
-Fly home...
This is just my rough idea, places can be added/removed if necessary.
Obviously the time of year adds a few impracticalities, so if your not travelling is there advice you can offer? Places not to miss/timing/weather/rough price...
Cheers,
Pete

My name is Vince, i'm 27, currently in Cairns.
I'm looking for people to buy a car / van and travel together around australia, and in the outback. I think that it's the best way to get out of the touristic tracks.
The main things that i like : nature, wild, hiking, diving, camping, sightseeing, having fun!
If you're interested, don't hesitate to call me : 0451138318.

Hi,
I am planning a trip to Goa starting 25th Dec and am looking for a travel partner to share the costs with since this is the most expensive time of the year.
I am a non-smoker, drinker and not the party type (but as long as you are not an addict I am good) though I love sipping the Chai a lot. I am looking for a travel partner to share the hotel costs, bike etc. I intend to hire a Bike and just do trips most of the day exploring and taking pictures and in the evenings maybe play some pool or meet some friends (I am not sure of their plans though). Please let me know if interested at vickyzmail2005@yahoo.co.in. I intend to spend my time at the not too touristy beaches (I know it will be hard to find but I will try).
Take care (I go on facebook by vicki India)

Heya,
Im a female, 21 year old, solo traveller currently in kolkata staying with some Indian friends from uni in Australia and I was hoping to go to Nagaland for the Hornbill festival on the 1st to the 6th or 7th of december. I want to travel there with an Indian friend from Nagaland and stay with his family whilst there but Ive only just found out that you need a pass to go to nagaland at all.
You need a group of at least 4 people to be able to apply for a permit so I am looking for people that are interested in forming a group OR a group of 3,4 or more people that wouldn't mind me applying for a permit with them. I would be very very thankful for help as without more people i will be unable to go at all.
Please if anyone is interested or knows anyone that I may be able to get in contact with please reply to this thread or email me on: jelly_belly_billy@hotmail.com.
Thanks h...
