I would appreciate it if you could give me some recommendations for a not too expensive (ie not ludicrous) cosy/great setting restaurant with fab food for a friend of mine. Can't be too fancy & require a booking way in advance - it's a week till they are there. Looking for areas easy to get to from Victoria or in the city centre.
I know Old Compton Street is the main gay area - any recommendations for pubs/bars/restaurant for a 40/50 year old couple?
It's their first time in London & I'd love for them to love it as much as I do.

This is very unfortunate news.

Has anyone travelled there? How's like? Surely when travelling in Africa (for most countries anyway) one should be careful about disclosing his/her sexual orientation?

Standing in my boxer shorts, sorting through a massive pile of what to take. Heading to New Delhi, India on Thursday, Dec 3 for 2 months. Read other posts and realized cruising in train station toilets and random, murky parks wasn't really my thing. Anyone in India for
December and January, who wans tot meet, grab a motorcycle, rickshaw, elephant and hit places not in your Lonely Planet guide ? Let me know.
You can reach me at boac@live.com as well.

hello all fellow travellers,
I am 34/single with a nice clean apartment in mumbai in the north part of the city ..away from the touristy south part but conveniently located thru a 45min train ride to the touristy points... anyone interested in joining me either at my place for the X'MAS or New Years eve weekends either in Mumbai or elsewhere around the city (though the rates else where would be very expensive around keeping in mind the whole world wants to stay in a hotel!) are more than welcome...
I am not really into the party 'scene' per se... and having spent last years holidays by myself, wouldnt mind some good company from a decent/educated person during that period...Prefer someone who is visiting to exchange some travel stories and get to know a different culture... Drop me a line and we can always take it further if its mutually agreeable....would love to be of help if ...

Hi, I will drive by car from Brussels to Paris on Friday 27 November and back from Paris to Brussels either on Saturday 28 or Sunday 29 November (date can be flexible). I look for someone to come with me and share the cost (about 60 euros in total for fuel and toll fee, so 30 euros per person). If you are interested in coming with me on those date, please contact me to my email heydude93@hotmail.com or my mobile (0032) 473 899 504. By the way, I am Asian, 23 yo, 174cm, 58kg, good looking, fun. My photos are on my profile www.gaydar.be/petitstar

Has any one of you used their massage services?
Can you tell me of good n hot masseur that i may book?
Are their any extra services being offered? Though their website says no such services at all...
Thanks for the help

Going back to Bangkok Jan 4-11. Would be cool to have someone to go out with, explore more parts of the city, drink, eat, etc, meet new people while we're there, and definitely go out. I'm pretty social, talkative, and outgoing.
American here 20yo, 5'8 145.
Anyone down?

Hi, my gf and I are looking for a spot to back-pack over winter and are hoping for a relatively lesbian-friendly desination. We are seasoned travellers but are really struggling with trying to find the better spots between Nicaragua, Puerto Rico or Dominican. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Has anyone (gay or lesbian) travelled to these countries? In your experience, was it safe to be out? Do you have any recommendations for hotels or dance clubs? We have heard and read that it is very difficult to try to find rooms with anything other than 2 single beds. I am an 'adventure traveller' while my partner is less so, so we're looking for good locations to hole up in for 3-4 days at a time to get to see the sights and get to know an area a wee bit before moving on. Thanks in advance for your time.

In Prague on my own for a few weeks with time to sightsee in the evenings and at weekends. Already sorted out a lot of music, but grateful for any ideas of what to see and where to go - more on the 'cultural' than the dance-and-disco side (perhaps as befits an energetic over-40!). I'd also welcome any ideas about places where the more 'mature' gay crowd may gather. And of course I'd be happy if there's anyone travelling through who fancies company to compare notes over an evening beer or two. Write back here or PM me. Thanks.

week in Jordan
Hi fellow travellers,
am based in Dubai and have 7 days off start of Dec. Decided to definately tackled Jordan see as much as I can and when and if I feel im done i'll fly back to dubai.
Here's my thoughts, interests and proposed itinerary, no accommodation currently booked, single male travelling alone. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, gossip?
1.get to amman early morning - bus to Wadi Musa/Petra
2. find accomm (maybe prebook) stay a night or two, see Petra
not interested in seeing anything else south so back to Amman will do day trips from there, and perhaps stay a night or two at Wadi Mujib dead sea area
3. back to amman. stay in amman and do day trips to Mount Nebo and HAMMAMAT MA’IN and get around seeing historical sights of amman etc
4. then go to dead sea, visit.......should I stay? people talking about Mujib Chalets (looks nice)?
5.back to amman...
