Road Trip south of ireland for 4 days
Rather than going on a foreign holiday this year me and my partner has decided to get to see some more of our own country. We are located in the north coast of Ireland and havn't had much experience around the south.
In our trip we plan to stay in some nice hotels, something with swimming pools, spas etc
Visit some tourist attractions such as Guinness factory/ blarney stone etc on the road down.
We would like to head as far south as possible and visit some nice scenic places along the trip.
Also plan on eatting somewhere nice each day so some ideas would also be helpful.
Possibly a bit of shopping along the road too.
We will be leaving on a Thursday and returning home on a Sunday.
All help would be great and any ideas for the journey would be good, even if it is different from my guidelines, im open to ideas! She is also pregnant so rough activities are out of the question.

2 weeks Ireland
Hi,
I'm planning my trip to Ireland with a friend and would like some advice...
We'll be going end of june/beginning of july for 14 days ( not including flying days).
I think I've been a little optimistic, because I want to see all of Ireland and Northern Ireland in that time.
But there is just too much to see..
Anyone who can give me an itinerary that's doable in that time?
or would it be better to do a part, and come back again for more?
Help please !!
Charlotte.

Top Ten Best of Ireland!
Last year I spent a week road tripping around the awesome country that is Ireland, went from Dublin, down to Cork, through the Ring of Kerry to Killarney, out west to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin, then back to Dublin through Galway.
Here are my photographs and my personal Top Ten best memories/moments that make Ireland such a charming and magical country to visit!
Hope you enjoy it.

Situation in Belfast ...
So, was looking at a trip to Belfast back in November. But for one reason or another had to postpone it. Thinking again about going over there, maybe spending a bit of time visiting the Giants Causeway?
Is now a good time to visit because of the trouble there at the moment? Or is it pretty much away from the centre, and it's not gonna cause to much disruption into actually seeing Belfast?

Accommodation Opinions Northern Ireland
I'm in the process of arranging a golf trip to Northern Ireland for Sept 2014. I've already arranged accommodation at the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa in Ballyliffin (North West Republic of Ireland) and at Slieve Donard in Newcastle (Northern Ireland). The area of uncertainity is the Bushmills \ Portrush area. It seems that everyone recommends "Bushmills Inn". However based on my research, the recurring theme is that Bushmills Inn is very expensive and the rooms and their sizes don't justify the expense.
Is Bushmills Inn really worth it?
What are you're thoughts on Bayview Hotel in town of Bushmills?
Is there much of a difference between Bushmills Inn and Bayview Hotel?
What are the restaurants and pubs like in Bushmills versus staying in Portrush?
If Portrush is a better place to stay (vs Bushmills); do you have any recommendations on Accommodation in Portrush?
Is the Royal Cou...

Hiking in Ireland or Scotland?
Hello fellow travelers,
I am planning a trip to Ireland and Scotland from mid-may to mid-june.
I really wanted to do a 5-day (or so) hiking trip in one of these destinations.
I was initially looking at the Kerry or the Dingle way, but then I researched the Scottish Highlands and I can't decide where to do so. Either way, I will be going to Ireland and Scotland.
I have about two weeks in each destination, and the people who are taking this trip with me are all in very good shape so the hiking difficulty is not really a problem.
Has anyone done both of these hikes? I know that we won't have enough time do do the whole hike, but we want to see the most we can in our short time there.
Any advice about where to go?
Thank you so much!
Have a great day everyone!

biking in ireland
I was looking into doing a week long biking tour in Ireland. But then I thought that a biking trip limits the amount of Ireland I get see so was reconsidering and touring by car so I get to experience more.
It would be great if I could do a hybrid trip where I'm biking a few days and travelling by car the rest. I was hoping to visit Dublin, County Clare, Galway and possibly parts of County Kerry or County Cork.
Does anyone have a recommendation of how and/or where I might plan a trip where I'm biking for a few days (either consecutively or not) and driving the rest?
Or if someone highly recommends a 7 day biking trip I'd love to hear about that as well.
Thanks, Peter

Dublin & Donegal recommendations needed
I'm going to be in Ireland for two weeks at the beginning of June (spending a week in Dublin before heading out to Donegal to do a bit of surfing) and was hoping to get a few recommendations:
A) Horseback riding - I'm looking for recs for outfits who do tours that cater to all experience levels either just outside of Dublin or on the west coast. Our plans are very loose at this point and we plan on tailoring them around a day or half day of riding.
B) B&B's on the west coast - any suggestions?
C) Driving outside of Dublin - we're debating renting a car once we leave Dublin and while both of us feel relatively comfortable driving, we're still a tad nervous it. Is it relatively easy to navigate our way to the west coast?
D) Castles around Dublin - recommendations?
Thanks guys!
