Hi All,
Sorry to be so generic with this post but I'm a little lost when it comes to the Pacific. There just seem to be too many choices so I was hoping for some recommendations for countries/Islands/Hotels that fit our bill.
My husband and I love to dive so looking for somewhere with quality diving. That said however, I am always a little nervous so calm water suits me best. Don't mind a gentle drift but no strong currents.
Got 2 little ones so need a resort with a kids club. Thinking something around 3 or 4 stars.
Best time of year????
Somewhere enviro conscious is high on my list too.
Anyone have any ideas???

How much time in Honiara and close surrounds??
Hello,
We are heading to the Solomons for a short break in May.
Most time will be spent on another island but we were thinking of spending a few days in Honiara to see the sites and surrounds.
More interested in the culture sites, WW2, land sites.
I can't find much information so looking for some help... We were thinking of giving ourselves 2 days before we fly out... is that too little?

Bussines visa - invitation letter
Hi,
I have a big problém and do not know how to solve it. We are friends and want visit
PNG and Solomon Islands. We have already bought all flight tickets.
We will come August 24 5am to Port Moresby. Next day 10am we have flight to Solomons.
After two weeks we have flight back to Port Moresby and then we want to travel in PNG.
After we bought these tickets, I started communicate with embassy in Brussels and they
told me that there is no two entry visa for PNG, only Single entry tourist visa.
The only other possibility is bussines visa, but I need invitation letter from somebody
in PNG. Can somebody help me?
The other option is to ask for the second visa in Honiara in Solomon Islands. Has anybody
any experince with it? How long does it také and is it really possible?
We are from Czech republic, we cannot get Visa on arrival.
I appreciate every help.

Hi, hoping someone can help. A few years ago i was told about accommodation
on Eua. It was described as being perched on the top of a hill/cliff with the
common area over looking the ocean n the passing whales. Can't remember

budget travel savaii and upolu , samoa
I am leaving in 3 days for samoa , I will be staying in budget accommodation- 100tala and under for 1 pax per night.
I have started a fb page to document info for friends, family and anyone who is interested in budget travel in samoa.
i will be staying at about 20 different places for about 4 days at a time, travelling between them by bus.
My fb page is called Aba Samoa ( now working properly after a false start due to not filling in the sign up instructions fully)

I have 4 major transfers booked with a transport company called Fiji Transfers for next month. All of a sudden, their web page is suspended and I am unable to contact them. Does it mean the they have closed operations?

As I am going to set off to my two-month adventures in september this year, I need your assistance regarding destinations of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands.... My travel itinerary is just in its infancy and I am rather in the position of doing research than anything else.
For starters, I was wondering if you could come forward with some tips or pointers as for which particular places I should visit in each country.
One of my main motives for this trip is the Goroka Show and a chance to make some nice photographs. So the place of this cultural event is obvious. Next I would love to visit coastal areas and some jungles, too. I have seen some spectacular pics of Menya River, which made me put it in my tentative itinerary. I am eager to use boats as transport as much as possible - i have even considered crossing the border over to Solomon Islands ...

Places to stay in Port Vila
Hi - I'm heading to Vanuatu (yeeha!) in late July, starting in Port Vila. Villa Hibiscus sounds like the best budget option for accommodation, going by LP. Is it still good? Or can someone recommend better? Cheap/cheerful/central are priorities, not comfort/beach access. Thanks muchly.
