Hi, I am looking for a female traveller to go to India with me as a friend. I am 30 year old female, would love to start in Bombay, go to Goa and then head on the train up north. Would love to do meditation, yoga, visit many places, see where I could help ( charities, teaching is schools or so on). I have spent 3 months in Thailand and I found traveling around there very easy. If you are up for such kind of a backpacking trip in beautiful India, let me know, we can catch up in London, see how we get on and go! Looking forward to hear from you!

I have a minsk 125cc motorcycle for sale in Phuket from early January 2010 until the 20th ish.
The bike is registered in vietnam and i have the official papers for traveling across borders. I have personally traveled across from vietnam into laos and now in thailand. (happy to share some tips on this type of crossing and dispell any myths.)
The bike was restored by a reputable private dealer in saigon. Its painted army green and looks great. It has numerous new parts including tyres and brakes.
I have a full set of spare parts.
all the electric components peculiar to the bike.
tube
tools
spark plug
foot pump
minsk manual
spare (new) clutch and accelerator cable.
This stuff took me ages to collect and i havent needed it at any stage. You may not either but it pays to have it with you for remote locations. (cost $100)
The engine is in great condition and i always run it w...

Hi, I'm 27 (28 when travelling!! :-( arghhh lol) but am looking to go to Thailand and Australia/New Zealand early 2010. Being a wary female I would love a travel companion to meet up on arrival or to go with if local as the whole experience is a little daunting as you can imagine!
Have come across the Ozintro and Thaintro groups which to me sound great if anyone is interested in joining me?

Hi there,
I'm planning to go to Viet Nam, Myanmar and Laos from Feb 1st 2010.
I was thinking to spend roughly one month in each country, but I'm quite flexible. I might have to be in the Hanoi area at some point in March and have to fly back home by May 2nd.
Any laid-back fellow travelers want to join?
By the way, I'm 28 and have been traveling around Australia for the last year; I'll be flying in from Singapore.
Ciao!
Anna

Hi,
I'm a 32 year old black male originally from Jamaica and currently living in the Washington DC area. I'm headed to Mexico City in early Jan 2010, traveling around Mexico for a while and then making my way slowly south from there hopefully ending up in Panama June 2010. I have no set schedule and will be playing everything by ear, seeing the sites, experiencing the various cultures, people and just life in general. I speak a decent amount of Spanish due to living in Barcelona for a couple months and hope to become fluent by the end of this trip. Any other fun loving adventurers who will be in the area around the same time just let me know as I would love to meet up wherever our travel plans coincide. Fun in numbers type of thing. Ciao!

Hi there,
I am a 23 year old female taking some time off before grad school and am hoping to find a travel companion who wants to go to South and/or Central America. I would like to go sometime around Jan-March. I am totally open about travel plans so if you have an itinerary you want to follow I don't mind adopting yours. I'm laid-back, but adventurous and am looking for someone similar.
Let me know if you are interested or have any ideas/suggestions
Thanks!

I am offering a retreat for a writer, photographer, artist or any like minded independent traveler on board my 32 foot sailboat, which is located in the Ionian, Greece. Wonderful views, great walks, lovely town, ancient ruins nearby. Bring your car or rent one and venture inland. Share my home on the water (you get your own cabin) and see Greece off season. Non-smokers only please. Women preferred.

Hi there,
We´re about to leave The Netherlands heading to Beijing the 23rd of February 2010. Want to stay in Beijing for 1 week. Afterwards we will take the train from Beijing to Lhasa. We´re looking for people who want to join us in a tour to Tibet. We found a great agency with only Tibetan people and they speak very good English as well (http://www.shangrilatours.com). We want to take the train the 3rd of March (or 2,3 days later/earlier)
This is how our itinerary looks like:
Day 1: Train Beijing to Lhasa
Day 2: Full day in the train
Day 3: Arrive in Lhasa in the evening (staying at Oh Dan hostel where Shangrila Tours is situated)
Day 4: Lhasa (in Lhasa you don´t have a guide yet but it is quite easy to arrange one)
Day 5: Lhasa
Day 6: Lhasa
Day 7: Lhasa-Yamdrok Lake-Gyantse
Day 8: Gyantse-Shigatse
Day 9: Shigatse-Sakya Monastery-Everest Base Camp
Day 10: Eve...

Hi. I want to travel to Ngorongo and / or Serengeti from Jan. 23/24 to Jan. 27th. Would anyone like to take me on (and thus lower overall costs) or is anyone interested in forming a group to go to any of these places on these dates? Thanks. David.

Goodevening Travelers
I m looking for someone to share a Pinasse (river boat) from Mopti to Timbuktu leaving Mopti Harbor on the 12th of January 2010 and arriving in Timbuktu on the 14th (if you wish we could arrange the departure and the arrival one day earlier or one or two days after, by the way the days to be spent on the boat are alway 3 (2 nights) in any case..). I m already in touch with a reliable local travel agency.. The whole boat costs 450 000 CFA (more than 600 euros) but it can be loaded with more than 8 people! and the price is going to be quite OK. we are already two looking for others..
so in short...
We are looking for people to share a pinasse around the 12th january from Mopti to Timbuktu! Come on!
Waiting for news.. cheers and merry xmas.!

I am currently in Nepal and am interested in trekking the entire Annapurna circuit but would consider Everest Base camp or other alternatives. As a solo female I am looking for others to leave around the 17th of November but my dates are flexible (later not earlier). I am in good condition and have a lot of high altitude trekking experience from South America but am not a fanatic--would like to enjoy the scenery a bit.
If this fits your schedule let me know as soon as possible. Also, I'll be out of contact from the 6th to the 16th or 17th (in Tibet)

Fed up with African buses?
....why not buy a car to travel in style?
We are traveling around Africa in a Toyota 4Runner (aka Hilux Surf). It has a strong 3.0L V6 petrol engine. We have gone all around Africa, starting in Morocco and are currently in Ethiopia.
As we are running out of time, we would like to sell the car (which is in good shape) in the near future - preferably to someone who might take it on another interesting trip on African roads.
The car is registered in Europe and travelling on a "carnet de passage", a document allowing you to take the car in an out of countries without paying import duties. To buy the car and take it on another journey, you would have to contact your local Automobile Association on how to buy and transfer cars to a carnet they issue.
The equipment is basic but functional. Like a wooden bed built into the back of the car, a gas stove, ...
