    A reliable option, nothing fancy

    I'm beginning to wonder where the LP gets these reviews from :-). The interior of De Reünie can hardly be described as 'airy' by any standard, with all its (dark) wooden furniture and wood-panelling and tables that are set so close together. The interior is more 'classic'/grand café-style.
    The Reünie is always a reliable option if you want decent food for a decent price. They do stuff like stews, pasta's, salads and cheese fondue etc. Nothing fancy, or innovative, but usually tasty enough. The atmosphere is informal and pleasant. The staff are capable and friendly. The cheese platter (with appelstroop) makes a nice drink-snack on a Sunday afternoon.
