    Overpriced

    I've been here several times. I don't know about the celebrities (never saw any at Goesting and Utrecht hardly has any to begin with) or wannabe's (just regular patrons IMO) that LP states frequent the place. I also wouldn't describe the furnishings as crypto-minimalist, but as clean and modern.
    The building Goesting is located in is wonderful. In summer, you can sit outside in the garden or at front. The service is very professional - a relief in Utrecht where most waiting staff are bored students. The wines are great. The food however is just ok and for those prices you would expect something a lot better. for that reason alone there are better choices for good food in Utrecht (Luce, Podium, even de Garde and Mas - all of which aren't mentioned on the LP site for some strange reason).
    If you eat at Goesting in summer: don't go for the expensive desert options on the menu, but go around the corner to Roberto's icecream parlour for the best icecream in Utrecht!
