Canal Tours are a fine way to see the old town and the old water-level warehouses. The landing is on Oudegracht just south of Lange Viestraat. You can also rent canal bikes from in front of the municipal library.

    I've been on more than one and it never disappointed...

    When I was little, my grandma took me on guided tours through the canals of my home town. I've been on more than one and it never got bored. You see Utrecht from such a different perspective that you almost wouldn't recognise it. The difference between the green Singel and the centre with her beautiful wharfs is astonishing. I would recommend this to everyone who is open to some history and looking at a city from a whole different perspective.

    don't miss to ride this canal tours. its even better than the amsterdam tour in my opinion. the tour guide is a funny person and she explained everything in several language.
