In a charming neighbourhood on the edge of the centre, this quirkily named hostel inside a traditional brick Dutch house has 56 beds across 12 rooms, and homey amenities including a patio and open fireplace. All rooms have showers but some share toilet facilities. Upper capsule-like timber bunks are accessed by ladder. Bike rental is available for €12 per day.

Description provided by property
Hello I'm Local Boutique Hostel offers 12 unique rooms. All rooms have a private shower, some share a toilet. Don't worry the toilet won't be more than a step away. I will make sure your bed is ready made when you arrive!
In my living room you can relax at the bar and enjoy my local treats. Take a bike to the beach, go shopping in the award winning center of Haarlem, visit the museums or Amsterdam and come back to my private patio with fireplace.
Price excludes tourist tax á E3,25 and breakfast. For those with an appetite; I can make you a great breakfast with options between E4,50 and E6.50. Coming with a group? Then I serve my group breakfast for E6 or E8. My bar and reception open at 8.00.
I tell a lot of stories about everything that's Local. Every item in the hostel has a story.
WARNING: I’m a bit old fashion and prefer conversation and board games over TV and WIFI. That’s why I left out TV’s, minibars and WIFI in the rooms. Don’t worry; for you internet addicts I have free WIFI in the living room.
Tourist tax needs to be paid upon arrival. In 2015 the tax is E3,25,- p.p.p.n. My reception is open from 8.00 - 20.00. If you are arriving/departing during other hours please let us know in advance. Don't worry, there's always someone present. You are always welcome to arrive before check-in to drop of your stuff. My bar is open till around 23.00. I have a garage to stow your bicycle. I also have a guest pantry with all you might need like a microwave, fridge, hairdryer, iron and a water boiler to make your own coffee / tea if you like.
