It's not the usual travel question.
I will be visiting the Netherlands from 16th to the 24th of July staying in Zealand(Middelburg), Rotterdam and Arnhem, but visiting as well Amsterdam, Eindhoven (each for a day) and Nijmegen. Might also visit Delft, Dordrecht, Groningen and Leuwarden. (Utrecht as well, but that will be on the Sunday...)
I'm a big comic book fan and I really like the dutch comic book series "Franka" from author Henk Kuijpers.
Does anybody know if he is somewhere around…
Hi there, does anyone know how I would get from Amsterdam Centraal station (the main station) to Beek en Donk by train return? Also does anyone know the cost? Thanks in advance!
I will be moving to Holland in September to study and I am trying to get as much info as possible on dentists and their costs in general.
Are they good?
Are they expensive?
Are they all private practices?
Any student discounts?
Any recommendations for dentists in Dronten area?
Hello LonelyPlanet Amsterdam!
My wife and I are looking to spend a month in Amsterdam as part of our honeymoon vacation. I have staid in Amsterdam many times before but this time we really want to get a feel of the local life in Amsterdam and the Netherlands as a whole because we are considering moving there in the future.
We are going to be in Amsterdam for all of July. My favorite place to stay from before has always been Jordaan, but I am worried about it being way to crowded during such a…
Accommodation in Amsterdam
Does anyone know any websites which may be useful?
AirBNB is limited, I'm looking late June!
I was looking in Barcelona and came across villas.com and many more options became available. AirBNB was limited there too, so hoping there is some other websites for apartments in Amsterdam.

This year, I want to try something new: leave on Saturday 31st and come home on the 01/01. But I want to find some place, preferably in the southern provinces: Zuid Holland…
What is the best way to get to the Portuguese synagogue from the airport?
Also as the Jewish historical museum and synagogue close at 5:00, is it possible to catch a canal cruise near the synagogue and then catch the train to the airport to be there by 8 pm?
Hi, I have an 9 hour layover in Amsterdam and wanted advice. I get in at 12:10 on Wednesday May 25 and flight out at 21:20 I have been before, in 2003. I was thinking about going to the Rijksmuseum since it was having renovations last time I was there. Since it closes at 5 I am not sure I will have time. Even if I did have time I should have a few hours afterwards. Any ideas? Also, is there a left luggage at the airport?
