I will be in Amsterdam Sept 10-12 and looking to meet some people. Will you be there as well? Let's connect!
Do you have any places/suggestions where I can meet travelers there?
We will sleep in Rotterdam and we have our own car.
I'm trying to figure out if it's cheaper to go to Kinderdijk by car or by water.
Leaving the car parked in Rotterdam centre it's about € 30 a day, if we go to Kinderdijk by car the parking fee there it's € 5,00.
Waterbus it's € 23,40 (€ 11,70x2 people) if I understand right (no translation) from here:http://www.waterbus.nl/tickets/#dagkaarten
Can you see the waterbus fee for Kinderdijk + Doordrecht?
Because after Kinderdijk we want to go to…
Does anyone have a cheap parking place to suggest near NH Atlanta Rotterdam Hotel Coolsingel / Aert van Nesstraat 4?
Till know I've heard the normal tariff is about € 17 a day.
It's ok even to walk 10/15 min ;-)
Hi guys, I was wondering if I could get advice here on something a little bit different from traveling the Netherlands
Im looking for property in a quite neighborhood more geared towards starting a family life in Utrecht, but still close enough for most things to have access by bike. I am 27 years old and work mostly online. My budget for the property is between 600k-1m euros. I was wondering what neighborhoods in Utrecht I should consider?
In August I will be in Netherland with my car for about ten days.
I'm planning the travel route and these are the destinations I chose:
Rotterdam (+ Kinderdijk)
Gouda (+ Oudewater and Schoonhove)
Delft (+ Maasluis + Maasland)
Den Haag (and Scheveningen)
Amsterdam (already been there, so just for half day)
Marken (not sure)
Texel Island (maybe)
As national parks I'm trying to understand wich one is the best between these three:
Hi, I'm supposed to be arriving in Amsterdam this Friday (13 July) and have spent hours online looking for a cheap hostel, but they all seem to cost at least 40 euros per night. That seems ridiculous - you can get a bed for less than half that in London - so I feel I must be looking in the wrong places. Where would I find the cheapest accommodation there? Thanks.
I have a layover in Amsterdam from 1pm until late at night on August 4 and was wondering how much it might cost to get from the airport to the city center where I can visit the canals, Anne Frank's house, and a cafe or two while I wait for my plane flight. I assume there is a bus from the airport to the city and back....does anyone know what that would cost and admission to Anne Frank's house? Anything else recommended for nine hours wait. Thanks.
It's not the usual travel question.
I will be visiting the Netherlands from 16th to the 24th of July staying in Zealand(Middelburg), Rotterdam and Arnhem, but visiting as well Amsterdam, Eindhoven (each for a day) and Nijmegen. Might also visit Delft, Dordrecht, Groningen and Leuwarden. (Utrecht as well, but that will be on the Sunday...)
I'm a big comic book fan and I really like the dutch comic book series "Franka" from author Henk Kuijpers.
Does anybody know if he is somewhere around…
