Lonely Planet review for Diamond Museum
The Diamond Museum explores the trade’s history and Amsterdam’s shining role in it. The museum is fairly low-tech, and those who are economically minded might want just to go next door to Coster Diamonds (the company owns the museum and is attached to it) and take a free factory tour, where you can see gem cutters at work and hear about the process.

Stunning

Make sure to take a tour of this museum! It is four buildings long, but does not take long. It is home to the worlds smallet diamond in the Guiness book of world records, you can even meet her. It goes from start to finish of diamond production. From a raw diamond to a beautiful masterpiece. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The gift shop has some amazing jewellery as well.
In the fourth bulding there are free washrooms, which don't occur often in Amsterdam. There is also a place where you can buy passes and tickets to shows, some at discount prices.
