Consistently ranked among Amsterdam's finest Indonesian restaurants, Tempo Doeloe's setting and service are elegant without being overdone. The same applies to the rijsttafel: a ridiculously overblown affair at many places, here it's a fine sampling of the range of flavours found in the country.
