Lonely Planet review for Bakken Met Passie
Say your sweetie hates ethnic food but you desperately want something exotic on the Albert Cuypstraat. This quietly fancy shop bakes the appropriate bribes like yummy Valrhona chocolate tart or lemon cake.

Take out only...
walln does not recommend this,
Nice enough food. Chaotic and poor service. The restaurant wasn't busy but it took 15 minutes for our order to be taken, 40 minutes for our food to come (nothing complicated...sandwiches). We then ordered some coffees to finish, one of which didn't arrive. We'd been there for over an hour and a half at this point and had had enough. Even by Amsterdam's poor service standards this was bad.

Looks nice, but bad pain au chocolat and rude owner!
amsterm does not recommend this,
It looks quite nice at first glance. However, service is slow and bad, prices are high and the pain au chocolat is gummy; when I told the owner that, she started giving me what for: "Sir that's your opinion. but we were named champions! This is your opinion...oh well. And by the way: for me a customer is not a king!". It was too embarrassing for words. When in Amsterdam, please don't go there. It's expensive, some of the products are of low quality and one is treated badly.
