't Hotel

The 't Hotel is a genuine find: Dutch Modern furnishing meets 17th-century canal house. Its eight comfortable individual rooms all have views of the canal or the (upscale) neighbourhood, and top-floor rooms have loads of light. There's a large breakfast buffet (included in room rates), and the hotel shop sells a range of design items.

The 't Hotel is as quiet and understated as its neighbourhood along the peaceful Prisengracht canal. Its rooms feature comfy beds and simple contemporary furniture that doesn't detract from the architectural details. Room No 7 is a sun-filled space with a gabled roof and large windows overlooking the canal, while room No 8 sleeps up to five people in single and double beds and a loft. The staff are accommodating and care that things are done right.
