Lonely Planet review
There are fancier hotels in town, but family-owned Aalders is homey and well situated near the museums. The 28 rooms are spread among two tall, adjoining buildings and come in varying sizes and styles (some with wood panelling and decorative-glass windows). In the morning, munch free homemade pastries in the chandelier-adorned breakfast room. Aalders also rents out bikes.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Aalders and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Vondelpark & Around.
