Lonely Planet review
Amsterdam’s first self-proclaimed ‘boutique hostel’ plays up its salacious past (the building was once home to a high-end brothel) in some themed bunk rooms, while others are more demure, with Delftware or windmill themes. Private rooms (check out the monarchy-themed ‘Royal’ room) have iPod docking stations and flat-screen TVs.
Amenities are way above typical hostel standard, with en-suite bathrooms, in-room wi-fi, a relaxing back garden, a well-equipped kitchen, a book exchange and a super-comfy lounge for movie nights.
Our independent authors have visited Cocomama and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Southern Canal Ring.
