Lonely Planet review
Five minutes’ walk from Centraal Station, this floating hotel is usually populated by dazed, Europe-in-four-days bus groups and packs of Brit boys/girls celebrating bucks’/hens’ nights. Rooms are sterile (in both senses) and have TV, phone and itty-bitty bathrooms. Breakfast is €10 per person; wi-fi costs €6 per hour. Two-night minimum stay for Saturday arrivals.
Our independent authors have visited Amstel Botel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Amsterdam.
