Located in the South of Holland in Venlo, approximately three hours from Amsterdam, Floriade 2012 will showcase the world's most exquisite and exceptional flowers, plants, trees, fruits and vegetables across 163 acres (66 hectares).

Floriade is open from April 5 to October 7, 2012.

Depart Amsterdam in your luxury coach, and travel for approximately three hours to the town of Venlo, where the Floriade 2012 World Horticultural Exhibition takes place from April 5 to October 7. En route, your guide will hand out maps and other information about the expo. On arrival, you'll be taken to the group entrance, where your pre-booked ticket will allow you to skip the line and go directly into the show.

Floriade has been held in the Netherlands every 10 years since 1960. The expo has always been a chance for countries to showcase their economic, social, cultural and technical developments. In 2012, spend an artistic and colorful day surrounded by the beauty of nature, plus enjoy cultural programs of music, dance, literature, theater and visual art from all over the world.

During your day at Floriade, visit the five themed zones. Discover the story of horticulture and learn about its future at 'Education & Innovation'. See horticulture portrayed as an economic instrument at the 'Green Engine'. Find out about the importance of greenery at home, on the streets and at work at 'Environment'. Sample food at 'Relax & Heal', which focuses on how nature impacts your health and wellbeing. And see how art, culture and entertainment inspire the horticultural sector, and vice versa, at the 'World Show Stage'.

After your full day in the park, relax during your luxury coach trip back to Amsterdam.
