This down-to-earth place has just a touch of refined comfort that sets it apart from other hotels in the price range. Set in the heart of Fajara, this peaceful place masters the art of understatement.

The Safari Garden Hotel's rooms are no-frills, but so pleasingly decorated that they make you look forward to spending the night here - should you be able to tear yourself away from the animated conversations to be had in Flavour's restaurant, the hotel's heart piece. This place attracts all kinds of voyagers and is almost an institution in Gambia's tourist scene, not least because of the multitude of exciting initiatives the friendly management team is involved in (just ask, they'll be happy to share) and the range of quality courses they offer.
