Hi all,

We are thinking about going to the Bahama's begin dec this year. And as you know there are way toooo many options! Although we are usually more of the adventure and going places, this time we are looking for an island where we (my hubby and I) can relax: nice beach, nice hotel/resort, massage, good food, secluded beaches, snorkeling/diving. We are thinking about staying for 1 week. And were thinking about perhaps 1 or 2 days experiencing Nassau (we do like culture stuff) and the other…

I'm in the early stages of planning a trip for 2 women: I'm in my late 40's and my mom is in her mid-70's. We live in different parts of the U.S., and we'd like to meet up in Tampa, FL to see relatives, and then continue on together to the Bahamas. We can spend 7-10 days total. I'm thinking that we might spend 1/3 of that time in Florida, with the other 2/3 in the Bahamas. We will fly in and out of Nassau. I wonder if we have time to see another island too, maybe Eleuthera.

We're looking…

Four of us are trying to decide if we should go to Nassau or St. Thomas for the first week of January after New Years, the flights cost the same to both so we are looking for advice on which one we should choose.

We are four guys going to celebrate our friends 30th birthday, so we are looking for nice beaches, hopefully some snorkeling, sea kayaking, adventuring, unique experiences, and some night life to enjoy.

Some of us are on a bit of a budget and we are used to staying in hostels so we are…

We will be in Nassau for a 4 nights in late December and are trying to plan activities. I am interested in taking a day trip to Allen Cay to see the engangered rocks iguanas. Can someone recommend a day trip from Nassau that includes or features a stop there? It's hard to tease out the options from simply searching the internet. Several boating companies have mixed reviews.

We are also interested in other suggestions for seeing unique wildlife in the Bahamas, given that our base camp will be…

Hi all,

We are visiting the Bahamas next September after a trip to orlando!
We had our hearts set on staying at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, we went to book it yesterday (so it would be a year to the day) and it had already been booked up!!!!
We are two couples, not looking for anything too fancy but ideally with 2 bedrooms and beach side!
The all inclusive options at Staniel Cay, and the added bonus of having your own skiff sounded fantastic so somewhere similar would be fab!!!

Thanks guys :)

Help! I am completely overwhelmed trying to figure out which island my fiancé and I should visit!

Here are the details -

We'd like to visit over Thanksgiving and stay for a week

We don't want a big resorts or anywhere too touristy

We both like to dive and eat

We don't want to have a rental car

We don't need fancy food or shopping

We don't mind island hopping (i.e. Ferries)

An ideal vacation would be beach time, water time, maybe a hike or boat tour of some sort, local food and fun…

Hi all!

I'm planning to visit Nassau this November. I want to know if my U.S phone number would work there especially if I can still surf the internet with my phone there. How's the price in Nassau? Do I need to bring cash with me? If yes, how much would be appropriate? Also, any recommendation for food? Thank you guys!
