As we will stay in Phuket only 1 day, we would like to those tours which allow to visit Phang-Nga, do some canoeing, see the JBond island, and if possible snorkeling.
I guess that there must dozens of agencies proposing tours with different prices.
We would like a good tour for our money (we do not look for luxury), but more importantly we do no want to do a mistake.
I guess our hotel in Phuket city center might want to sell one. But it would be the last option.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
We will stay just 1.5 days in Phi Phi arriving around on Day 1 and leaving in the morning of Day 3. So in fact just 1.5 day to use.
We have booked an hotel not far from Tonsai Pier, so that we are in a central position to go where we need.
The idea mainly of our stay is mainly to enjoy swimming, snorleking and maybe visiting some caves.
I am looking on advices on places to go (so that we do not do a mistake and lose precious time) and also some tour agency (if needed).
For the 1st afternoon…
we need to get from Ko Yao Yai to Ko Phi Phi. I take it we take a longtail to Phuket and then ferry or speed boat to Ko Phi Phi. is there a better way? If we left at 10 AM what time should be expect to get to KPP? Are there any better routes? The trip is in February, but what happens to travel by longtail in rough seas? I doubt we would want to chance it in a storm? Maybe it would be smart to put an overnight somewhere in Phuket as a buffer for bad weather?
Also, can you expect a hotel…
Please help me, how to get to the Mo Chit Bus Terminal from Suvarnabhumi Airport by train?
Do I need to go to Phaya Thai and than change for Mo Chit?
Whether there will be direct train from Phaya Thai to Mo Chit, or more changes in between?
Or do I need to get off at any other station before Phaya Thai for Mo Chit?
I am going to be in SE Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand) for 4 months starting in January. I was planning to bring my Blackberry Passport phone and just use it for internet via wifi whenever I can get it (rather than get a SIM card). Just wondering how common wifi access is in Thailand? I have not been there since 2005 (back then, I'd use internet cafes). I plan to mainly be in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and the Krabi area (Ton Sai, maybe Phi Phi)... and will be staying in budget accommodations like…
Arriving in bbk at 10:40 am on the 29th. Yesterday i was planning on booking an overnight train to CM for the 29th but all trains are booked much to my surprise. I was told it's because of some holiday, although I cant find any info on it. Anyways Im a bit stumped on what I should do next.
Should I try to book ahead for a bus to CM? Use an online service like 12go.asia, or do I have to go to morchit to buy a ticket?
Or, can we go from the airport to morchit on the 29th and expect to get on a…
