Looking at our options for travel from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui then to Bangkok. Air prices seem to vary dependent on travel time, $48-240. Air Asia trip is 6 hour+. Time has value as we are only in Thailand for 11 days. I also saw a link for a high speed ferry but it doesn't give arrival times to gauge trip duration. Is this a ferry directly from Samui to Bangkok?

Can anyone share info on best way to do these two legs of our trip?

Also, any suggestions on nice place on west coast of Samui to…

Hi guys,

My girlfriend and I are visiting South-East Asia from 5th Jan -20th Jan 2017.
The 5th -9th will be taken by Singapore as we'll be there for a friend's wedding. However, the 9th -20th we'd like to go exploring. Phuket, Bangkok and Siem Reap are high on our list of places to visit. We're just wondering how much time we should spend in each, and whether we should include all 3 destinations. We are a young couple and won't mind being on the move a lot, relaxation isn't really our focus for…

Hey,

Coming to Thailand mid August to mid September as a lone traveler. Really looking to meet up with some people in the same boat or whatever, cant wait!!! Open to exploring wherever, potentially including some trips to Hong Kong or some other places (if convenient).

Drop me a message any like-minded people who are gonna be there at the same time as myself!
