According to the National Geographic Society, this island is one of the Top Ten dive destinations in the world. If I compared this island to Phi Phi, I think Tachai island is less populated. Also, it is so beautiful with the white sand, clear water, and clean beach. You will not be disappointed. These are the picture, I travelled last year

I'm a writer looking for a quiet place with a pretty view to write for a week or two starting next week. I've been to Nong Khai 10 years ago and am considering going back but wondering if it's too quiet with few restaurants etc for evening diversion.

I'm wondering if Chiang Mai is a better choice but I'm wary of big touristy city. Is the outskirts promising or am I better off going elsewhere? Looking for a chilled place with some activity nearby. Pai sounds too much like a party. Any…

Over the past year, I have had a strong desire to teach abroad. I am currently a special education teacher in Chicago. I love my job but I am wanderlust. Next school year, I want to teach in Thailand (or any other Buddhist country). I would like to use my degree because I love teaching special education but I am open to other suggestions.

Help me with the process. Any help will go a long way.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a 3 day yoga or mediation stay in BKK, mid Feb. I'm looking for a "real", donation based set up rather than a tourist tour. I dont speak Thai, so would need a wat or school that offers some English instructions as well. Thanks for your help!

This will be my first backpacking trip and wanted to get recommendations in what to do, see and how to travel from Chiangmai through Laos to Hanoi. I hear night train is best.

I'll be travelling with my family to Bangkok but our flight arrives at about 1am. A taxi is probably our best option, but how safe would it be at night? I have taken taxis elsewhere in SE Asia without major problems (apart from getting scammed every now and then - tbh I don't really mind paying a few hundred baht extra if it means that I arrive safely), but never this late at night. Would an Uber be safer?

My family and I will be travelling to Mynmar this spring. When applying for visa at Myanmar consulate in Bangkok can I apply on behalf of my wife and two children as long as I have all the proper documents or do they have to accompany me? Many thanks. Rory

Hi guys
After several years of reading this forum, i'm glad to come up with my first post... ;-)

I (m, 33y) have been to Thailand several times in the last 10 years and visitet the andaman coast from Phuket down to Ko Libong, The region around Ko Samui and the the eastern islands of the Gulf of Thailand. Every trip took at least 3 weeks, which made it very relaxing and allowed some spontaneous actions when it came to the question " where to go next?".

This time I will travel with my girlfriend…
