So we're going on our honeymoon, arriving in Phnom Penh on Feb. 1 and leaving from Phuket on Feb. 23
Here's what I have so far:
3 nights in PP
Overnight train to Siem Reap
4 nights in Siem Reap
Fly to... (Thinking either Chiang Mai or BKK)
End with 6 nights in Phuket
Where would you spend the 8nights/9 days. Split it between Chiang Mai and BKK?
I have got a 4 month roundtrip with Gulf Air from Frankfurt to Bangkok. Today at the Consulate in Germany I couldnt get a 2 month touristvisa because I had no onward ticket bus or flight within 2 month.
Aparently new rule sins 1. of August this year.
With a online busticket to Siem Reap leaving 1 week after entering Thailand and no Visa could get me in trouble with the airline at departure or customs in Bangkok?
Wondering if this is an option. We will be travelling from Koh Samui to Phuket and would like to take the ferry to main land and pay someone to drive us to Phuket, stopping maybe at Khoa Sok National Park.
Does anyone know of anyone that offers this type of option? We may want to stop at the park for the day, or maybe even stay a night there and continue to Phuket in the morning
Hi, we are a couple planning 4 nights stay in phuket just to relax and to be away from the regular city buzz. We are planning to fly to Phuket and will book our stay in the coconut village resort in Patong area.
What's the best way to reach our hotel from Phuket airport? Will i get shared mini vans at the airport or would i need to hire a cab? What would be the average cost for two?
We plan to take ferry to Phi Phi island from Rassanda pier. Should i ask for a paid shuttle…

I am struggling to find somewhere affordable with a pool (have kids!) on Kai Bae Beach at Christmas time. I have found a family room available at Siam Bay resort. According to maps, this is at the southern most tip of Kai Bae. Is this totally out of the way of any life ie shops, restaurants etc. I am reading mixed reviews as to weather you are isolated here with not a lot around you or...weather it is easily walkable to the busier central/northern area of Kai Bae. Any help with this greatly…
I am planning to travel around thailand from january 2017 and want to see and experience as much as possible - if anyone can help me achieve this i can make them a professional promo video(s) without any cost. PLEASE NOTE: although i am a professional videographer this is not a commercial proposition and i will not accept any cash payment, so please do not contact me unless you are looking for a mutually beneficial co-operation not involving money!
hello wise people of TT -
we are planning a trip to Thailand next summer with our kids (ages 7 and 4 by then) - it will be our 9th trip there but we have never been in July/August. Unfortunately we have to go then, because of school holidays. From my research, it seems like Ko Samui/Ko Phangan/Ko Tao will be our best shot weather-wise. But we have been there a few times already and would prefer somewhere new, or at least 1 or 2 new beaches or islands. We've been to Ko Lanta, Krabi, Railay, Khao…
