At a glance the changes that have occurred since the original summary are that -

Non visa entry by land or air can now be extended for 30 days for 1900 baht.
Its still the case that G7 passport holders get 30 days when entering by land whereas many other nationalities only get 15 days if they come by land border.
Authorities announced in August / September 2014 that they reserve the right to restrict the number of border runs those without visas can do. But not much evidence of this being…

Hey guys

I'm looking for another female travel buddy for Thailand 23 October - 8 November, I'm 23 from England, and as this would be my first time traveling I don't really want to go alone..
I've got a rough itinerary but can change things around if need be :) plus any tips/advice would be awesome!

24-26th; explore CM for two days - Saturday & Sunday…

Hi everyone,

I've been looking at goabroad.com for volunteer work and shocked to the fees for some of the projects. Why do I have to pay soo much? Would be good if you fellow members have any suggestions of places I could do Volunteer work in Hua Hin and around Thailand that aren't more than $500USD for longer than a month, or even better – nothing at all.
I'm interested in: Stray dog rescue; Art; building homes; basically anything to help the greater Thai community.

Hope you guys can help.

The world has changed a lot, and there is a whole new generation of tourists heading to SEA every year. I'd love to see what the typical questions / trip reports / scam warnings etc were a couple decades ago. Perhaps back then it was an endless list of people wanting their itineraries reviewed just as it is now (I don't recall that to be the case), or perhaps the questions were…

We are going to spend 20 days in Thailand in September with our child, four years old.
Last year, we went to Koh Samui for ist good location, everything was very near, local restaurant, good beach and the weather.
So, someone could recommend us a similar place to go.
And any hotel with bungalows next to the beach but not expensive.

thanks in advanced
