Getting there & away
Sǎwngthǎew run between Phibun and Chong Mek (35B, one hour) every 20 minutes. There is no public transport between Chong Mek and Khong Jiam; you must go through Phibun or hire a túk-túk for about 400B. If you are continuing on to Pakse, catch a bus (50B) on the Lao side.
