Day 2 Bangkok City Tour

Kick start the day with a walk to the banks of the Chao Phraya River and board a longtail boat to discover the city's khlongs. Next up is a guided tour of Wat Pho to see the huge reclining Buddha. The temple is the centre of the Buddhist religion in Thailand and regarded as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. The final place to tick off on the sightseeing list is the ornate Grand Palace. More than 220 years old, the palace has served as the official residence of the king and the seat of government but is now a place of reverence for Thais and a popular attraction for visitors. Enjoy a guided tour of the palace grounds, including Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha. Afterwards, return to the hotel to relax or spend more time exploring the area.
