In about 2006 due mainly to concerns about criminals and illegal workers doing border rums a 90 days in 180 days stay limit for non visa entry was introduced . Me and my friend have eight nights to spend on the islands. Would you split time equally or dedicate more time on the other? What would be the recommended location on either of the islands? We are looking to do some diving, some nightlife but most importantly just relax and enjoy.

I haven't flown into BKK for a while. Used to be able to get a bus AE2 to Koh San, but it looks like that has been discontinued. What are the public transport alternatives now besides public bus? The rail link wasn't completed last time I used that airport, so am not sure which station to take it to, then how to transfer to public transport.
Thanks in advance.
