Thailand to Laos
Blog: Some Travel Required - 19 March 2010
Crossing the borderAlthough Thailand was amazing and there was still so much we hadn't seen, we had to keep moving to stand any chance of completing our ambitious itinerary and seeing Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia in little more than 5 weeks. A Slice of Pai
Blog: Some Travel Required - 18 March 2010

Blog: Where is Rob? - 7 December 2009
One word awesome! Pai is chilled out and the weather was lot cooler than the rest of Thailand so was a nice break from the sweaty mess that was Bangkok. Pai is about 3 hours and 730 odd hair pin bends west of Chiang Mai. I think its only about 150km from Chiang Mai but as there are so many twists and turns in the road as you go up the mountain its takes nearly 3 and a half hours.
