There has been frustration expressed about the number of similar questions being asked about onward ticket complications. The idea of this thread is that it might be a one stop shop for all the common questions so in future a link might be given to it rather than having to write the same info again and again-

How do I know the info already on Thorntree about this is still current ?

The basic issues about onward tickets have changed little in the last 25 years or more. When there are any…

Hi, me and my partner are both British and in our early twenties. We are hoping to go travelling in January (1st time - eeek excited / eek scary) for around 2 and a half months, going to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia/Singapore and then for approximately a month in Australia.

My question is do people think that this enough time for us to enjoy each area/is it a manageable itinerary? I have done some research and seen people spending much much longer doing this but also some much shorter…

Me and my partner are travelling Thailand and Cambodia at the end of the year, how much would you roughly say we should have to get us by for 3 months? We're very flexible. Won't be going over the top with activities and drinking, would just like a rough idea for a budget. Thanks in advance :)
