NEW VISA CHANGES THREAD

At a glance the changes that have occurred since the original summary are that -

Authorities announced in August / September 2014 that they reserve the right to restrict the number of border runs those without visas can do. But not much evidence of this being…

Airport Transfer to Siem Reap

Hi we leave Taipei on Sunday and land in Bangkok with China Airlines at 10:05AM, we then have a flight at 11:35AM to Siem Reap with Bangkok Airways. We did not book these flights together so we can't check in for both flights in Taipei. Can someone give me information on this? We do not plan on checking bags to save time but can you tell me which one of the following we will have to do, option 1 or 2, if we have already completed online check-in. If option 2 will we have enough time to get…

Does anyone know any latest news about Bang Khu Wiang floating market?

kota kinabalu to thailand with kids

Change of plans and needing quick advice. i have been travelling with my 3 children and am currently in sabah. I had planned sarawak but time is too tight to do it at a relaxed pace. We fly home from KL in 2 weeks and was needing a nice relaxed place to spend 10 days on a beach in thailand, not too far from KL while we await our flight home. Our travel budget is getting a bit thin and so good but cheap accomodation is a consideration as are travel costs....any suggestions?

weekday floating market near Bangkok

Ya, trying to reduce the temples and add this floating market: Anyone have been here?

Bang Khu Wiang Floating Market

Perhaps the best choice to enjoy a traditional Thai floating market without the touristy push is Bang Khu Wiang. Monks arrive by boat in early morning on their daily 'tak baat' (alms round), and a variety of farm - fresh produce is offered.

Opening Hours: 04:00 - 07:00 (every day)
How to get there: One option is to rent a boat from Chang Pier (in Bangkok), and ask to be taken…

Thai tourist visas

Hi,

I'm not sure from the sites I've seen. Our plan is to arrive in Thailand and then travel to Laos, then Cambodia, and then back to Thailand. This would be in a 15 day periods. I notice Russians get a 15 day visa on arrival. I'm wondering if that is multiple entry or not. Otherwise, returning to Thailand to fly back, we'll need to get the visa at the land border again.
