Trat to Battambang help

Does anyone know of the best way to get from Trat to Battambang (avoiding backtracking in poipet if possible).

It doesn't look like any minivans go directly from Trat to the Ban Pakard border crossing.

Has anyone done this, and can it all be done in one day?

I have looked at their website and was wondering what your experience was? Particularly around saving money, they say you can travel longer, cheaper, better and stay for no or low fee?
Their website www.wwoofthailand.com

Vans

Suddenly one is forced into mini vans to travel in Thailand with suicidal bus drivers and where the only things said are those on mobiles, no longer a pleasure. Can anyone tell me the rules on luggage as these things don't seem to have room for any?

Getting tickets from Bangkok to Ranong on the day of arrival

Hi. We ( a couple with 15 y. daughter) are arriving in Bangkok around noon on Dec 8. What's the chance of getting a night bus to Ranong ( Ko Phayam)the same day without reservation? Is there any chance of getting reservation at the airport or should we head straight to the bus station? Once we're at the bus station is it possible to reserve in advance a train to Chiang Mai in the area? Any info really appreciated.

Bus to Si Racha

Am I right in thinking that it is possible to catch the bus from Mochit to Si Racha (will be much easier for me to reach than Ekamai) as I will be going there from Lop Buri - feel free to provide other suggestions as to route but in and out of BKK may well be easiest
