Try to catch a Snapper or Barracuda on this full-day fishing excursion from Koh Samui.

You'll be picked up from your Koh Samui hotel and board the fishing vessel with your local boat captain guide.

Travel to two beautiful secluded Islands on the south side of Koh Samui. There are plenty of fish in this area and your experience boat captain will find the best spots to stop.

    Catch more than 10 fishes

    There are a few tour operators for fishing. I take the one with Mr Ung's in Jun 2011 because it looks best and the most expensive one on the brochure. So I expect it will be better than others. The trip is certainly very enjoyable.

    Don't expect too much on the boat as we went out on a different one from the photo brochure. We saw a few boats on the pier in south Koh Samui and they are very similar. I cannot tell which one is definitely better by the look. As the trip is not going far away, we can easily get towed or transferred to rescue boats. Condition of the boat should not be a big issue.

    Other talks about safety. I found only some live vests on board.

    Finally it come down to price. I found that some people in the group is from other operator and they pay THB 1,100 instead of me paying THB 1,700. So remember to bargain. Go to the main street and check the price and don't boot from the hotel.

    Finally, remember sun tan lotion even you fish under the shade.
