This fine vegetarian restaurant makes delectable curries and fusion dishes incorporating Indian cuisine (such as veg samosas). It's also very friendly, ethically sound – with proceeds going towards the Elephant Nature Park – and has a cooling garden out the back for outside dining.

    Great place to learn how to cook (and eat) Thai food.

    We booked a cooking course through the elephant nature park. It was 1000 baht, perhaps more expensive than other courses but some of the money went towards the elephant conservation group so we didn't mind. We chose 9 dishes to cook. It ended up just being the two of us and the chef. He instructed and observed as we made them and then we got to try and eat them! We couldn't manage between the two of us to finish it all despite them tasting excellent. We got a cookbook and a good experience to take home. All the staff were very friendly.
