    I think the other reviews are fake

    Look, there is a well defined pattern to people who post 'honest' but generally favourable reviews of Bangkok tailors: Its the only post they ever write. yet they go at lengths to describe their experience and frankly sound like bozos.

    Have a closer look at the 3 reviews of this tailor and make up your own mind. I am sure they are as fake as 80 percent of the other Bangkok tailor reviews on any social travel site.

    I also had a good experience at Nickerman's.

    I scoped out a few places before giving them a go. I enjoyed the no pressure sale and they were quite accommodating while I talked about what I wanted and spent quite some time looking at materials. I had them make me a Black Fleece/Thom Browne inspired suit in a light gray (half-lined for the Thai weather). I gave them some images and BF jacket as an example. They did a pretty decent job and were very accommodating.

    I now have them making me some ties from alternative materials and want them to make me a similar suit in a dark blue cotton.

    All-in-all a good experience and I'm quite happy with the service and the results.

    Exactly what we were looking for. A very professionnal service, the owner can give you some advices when you don't know exactly what you are looking for. While looking for a tailor in Bangkok, we didn't feel comfortable in all the places we went in except Nickermann's tailor. As it is a the basement of the Landmark hotel, this shop is working mainly (only?) with recommendation and not with guys in the street who keep asking you if you want a suit...(So annoying...) Now I have been a customer, I highly recommend it. I bought a suit and shirts, my girlfriend bought a dress in silk and we are both really happy from the quality and the service we had. One good point is that I can now order a new suit from home (as long as I don't become fatter though...) as she keeps all your size.
    As a conclusion, We highly recommend this tailor hidden from the crowd.

    Excellent tailors, a must for people that likes to suit up

    I just got back from Bangkok and I had a complete wardrobe made from Nickerman´s! To sum it up in one sentence, I have to say "Excellent tailors, a must for people that likes to suit up!" They were very service minded, especially the owner, a lady from india. She really understands what you are looking for and makes an effort to get you what you want! Another ting is that she doesn´t sell fake fabric pretending it´s the real deal as many tailors in Bangkok does. The fabrics has a label of which quality it is, and where it´s made. At Nickerman´s they have most fabrics, the ones made in china (often cheap polyesterish) the one made in china but with the "made in italy" label (a little more expensive, but still made in china) this fabric is often sold as real italian fabric in other tailors. The most expensive fabric is the one that is ACTUALLY made in Italy, and that´s the fabric I got my 2 suits made in. They feel so good to wear, and they also fit me like a glove. After I made the two first suits I liked them so much that I had a third one made as well. Along with the suits I got 9 shirts, all in egyptian cotton, they feel so good to wear! Keep in mind though, this is somewhat price compared to what I thought it would cost in Thailand, suits in best quality are 10000 bath approx 330 USD, but I guess you get what you pay for. I am very happy with my suits and I would recommend it to anybody that wants a quality suit!
