Lonely Planet review for Roti-Mataba
This classic eatery appears to have become a bit too big for its britches in recent years, but still serves tasty Thai-Muslim dishes such as roti, gaang mát·sà·màn (Muslim curry), a brilliantly sour fish curry, and má·tà·bà (a sort of stuffed Indian pancake). An upstairs air-con dining area and outdoor tables provide barely enough seating for its loyal fans.

Good for a fast pit-stop
diarmuidr recommends this,
Crowded with locals and a few tourists sitting round formica tables, Roti Mataba delivers curries served with Roti bread or rice. Slightly odd that you need to order each (small) roti bread individually - a dish billed as chicken roti came with lots of chicken curry and one piece of bread. Definitely not enough, but then additional Rotis come quickly and are only 10B or so.
In no way a destination restaurant it's a good fast meal if you're in the area and that's what you're after.
