Lonely Planet review for Café Primavera
If the coffee was just a tad better, this dark-wood and marble-topped table trattoria is just the kind of place we’d like to make our local cafe. The pizzas and homemade gelati offer more hope, and the friendly and efficient staff seal the deal.

delicious food, special desserts, lovely friendly atmosphere

I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years and it is always nice to come back to be greeted like family and see that the quality of the food has been maintained on a high level and the choices are getting more every time.
Although I like sampling through their various dishes, western and Thai alike, one thing I always end up with: The Panna Cotta with blueberries, my favourite dessert. two thumbs up (have only two) -

Service, food and attitude found wanting...at best!
whflack does not recommend this,
We visited on 24 July 2011 after reading positive reviews in the Lonely Planet Guide. I swear, we ended up in a different Cafe Primavera. The pizza was deplorable by any standard, the owner totally indifferent to our presence and the Thai wait staff uncharacteristically disinterested.
In summary...a one-time experience, never to be repeated!

My friends and I wanted to escape the Khaosan area and we found Cafe Primavera near the old Fort Phrasumen. We have gone back since then a few times, the pizzas are so great! Nothing what you get usually in Thailand.
One of my friends had a tuna steak with Raspberry sauce there. absolutely top! Dessert was also very fine, the Panna Cotta very creamy and the Vienna Apfelstrudel genau wie daham (just like home).
two thumbs upGood for: pizza, steak, Pasta, Appelstruedel

cosy atmosphere, great food, great music

Had wonderful pizza there while the wifey enjoyed the Carbonara a lot. The smoked salmon as an appetizer before was a welcome change to the usual fare as well. After the meal we hung out a while and enjoyed the jazz music while sipping our Cappuccino and Hazelnut Latte which went down extremely well with the Applestrudel.
All in all a very enjoyable evening! We'll be back soon. thanksGood for: Pizza! Pasta
