Lonely Planet review for Bed Supperclub

This illuminated tube has been a literal highlight of the Bangkok club scene for a good while now. Arrive early to squeeze in dinner , or if you've only got dancing on your mind, come on Tuesday for the popular hip-hop nights.

    We were there in March 2011 and the place is GREAT!

    The Bed Supperclub is located just a 5 minute walk away from the Nana BTS station and that Saturday night, the two DJs played a super mix of techno and house music.

    The admission fee wasTHB880 per person and the price of the admission fee not only entitles you to 2 free drinks for the night, but also makes it one of more up-market clubs in Bangkok limiting the crowd to those who want real value for money. We felt that the club attracts the young foreigners working and holidaying in Bangkok.

    The bar staff were friendly, trendy and spoke good English and served up potent cocktails (which was a surprise given the lack of alcohol in the “free drink” the admission ticket of another club in Bangkok entitled us to!) The mezzanine floor has an area with comfy couches and another bar counter which is relatively less crowded than the main bar and floor area right opposite the the DJ console.

    The music wound up and the houselights came on shortly after 2am. While the BTS stops running at midnight, there are plenty of cabs right outside the club at closing time.

    Don’t forget to take some form of ID!!
