Wanna feel ripped off, taken advantage of, and sweaty ?

    nicegringo does not recommend this,

Went to Silom location, there is no air to breath ! The gym is hot with tread mills on the 2nd floor, but if you want to switch to weights, you need to pack on to an elevator with 20 other people and go to the 19th floor of this office building. There is no ventilation on the 19th floor and the air conditioning is poor, making it impossible to work out.

Tried out the Siam/Paragon location. There is never one price to get in the door. Between Bait & Switch games to actually paying for membership, you never know what you will get. You have to fight and nearly walk out the door for them to offer you 5 days of free membership to try the gym out. This gym has great ventilation and powerful air conditioning, it is almost hard to break a sweat the place is so cold, but the showers are filthy with wooden floors that hold bacteria. The equipment is old, in need of repair, not bolted to the floor. Accidents waiting to happen. The personal trainers have a good attitude and want to help, but I have trained with a personal trainer at David Barton Gym, New York and I watched people being trained and not being corrected when their form was incorrect or they were doing an exercise wrong. I assume just like every where, they have some good trainers and some bad. The management is the worst I have ever seen. There is never anyone in charge, but everyone you talk to claims to be a "manager". There is no supervision, so when you feel you are being taken advantage of and that the price your being given is much higher then the actual price, there is no one in charge. I suppose the fact that I am a farang means that because I am white, I can afford to pay more. The truth is I would not mind paying more if this gym was in good condition and had people working that were friendly and I felt I was getting my monies worth. This gym has no customer service, they just want to rip you off, take your money. They promise you everything to get you to sign up for a membership, but in reality they give you nothing. If you want to work out at a real nice good gym, try True Fitness at Asoke.
