Its still the case that G7 passport holders get 30 days when entering by land whereas many other nationalities only get 15 days if they come by land border.
Authorities announced in August / September 2014 that they reserve the right to restrict the number of border runs those without visas can do. But not much evidence of this being…

Perhaps tourists travelling alone should not go there, and if with someone don't go off on your own. It's become "death island" recently.
Myself and my husband are in search of simple hut style accommodation on a beautiful beach in south east Asia, not too populated by tourists so we can take 6 weeks out to rest and recoup after a pretty stressful year and prep ourselves for the year ahead. Obviously the cheaper the better but we are really interested to see if this is possible to achieve still (I traveled Thailand 10 years ago and rocked up to a couple of spots that would be so suitable for the R&R we need for very small…
I have been reading posts regarding the debate of Taxis verses Trains and am still a little bit confused.
I’m a single guy in his 40's who will be travelling alone with a back pack and need to get from the airport to the Indra Regents Hotel in Pratinum (why that hotel, don't ask long story). From what I can see it looks as though the rail link could be my best option. I will be arriving in the middle of peak hour (5pm).
Can you please advise if this is a practical option for me to do or…
I am working in the US for past few years on Indian passport and planning to visit Thailand for a month. Heading out in next 48 hours. I was lead to believe that I could get a visa on arrival for a month once I land in Thailand. However, now I am not very sure of that. I know I can get 15 days VoA but I really wanna stay for 1 month at least. Is it possible to somehow arrange a 30 day visa after reaching Thailand?
I don't have time to get a visa in the US right now. Any help/ advice on how…
I've been to Damnoen Saduak market years ago, and now I'm back in Thailand with my husband and kids (6 and 8 yo.)so I wanted to go to Amphawa floating market, as I heard it's a nice option.
We are staying at Khao San rd, are there vans near to take us there? and can you tell me update prices? we are going mid February.
Which would be the best option for us? Vans, train or taxi?
Thanks very much!
Hi, we have a very early flight from Krabi to BKK. I'm wondering if it's possible to sleep for a few hours in the Krabi airport. I understand that it's a small airport and that it might close down for the night. It's hard to find any info online.
Thanks in advance.
