At a glance the changes that have occurred since the original summary are that -

Non visa entry by land or air can now be extended for 30 days for 1900 baht.
Its still the case that G7 passport holders get 30 days when entering by land whereas many other nationalities only get 15 days if they come by land border.

If I take the first possible boat from Ko Tao to Chumphon (10am-ish) what time could I arrive in Khao Sok?

Going by public transport,so...bus,either down the east or down the west coast..

For me it's the laid back jazzy chill-out music and reggae that you hear in abundance in the region's bars. Just reminds me of kicking back in the high humidity with a beer and meeting wonderful people from all round the world, knowing I didn't have to go to work again for months. What about you?

Hi All,
I'm calling out for some one who has some experience in caring for the old, disabled or ill who would like to extend their travels for a while or would like to make a bit of money here in Thailand to fund their travels.
My English ex pat father who lives in Hua Hin recently fell down the stairs at home and suffered a brain hemorage. As a result of this he has also had to have a tracheostomy which means he cannot speak at the moment. He is recovering in hospital but is going to need 24…
